The Finale

Just 1 really final entry before I bid goodbye to this treasured asset of mine.
Yes, I discovered that someone whom I love loved betrayed me.
And the worst is, I am to be blamed for the betrayal.
I no longer care because I have sought justice for myself.
I no longer care because I have already moved on with my life.
I cared because I am not heartless.
I cared because I worry.
Now I am free and relieved.
Now I am all emancipated from the past.

To my Xangarian friends, I will still continue to write.
If you wanna know, drop me a message.

7th Commandment

What makes a woman/man commit adultery?
Who is to be blamed for it?
From the sinners' point of view - others.
From the hurt - sinners.
The seventh of the Ten Commandments, which God spoke of long ago, "Thou shalt not commit adultery" Exodus 20:14. This has always been God's law.
Does it take a sexual intercourse for an affair to be called an affair?
Is kissing, sleeping together without any sex an act of affair?
Take the infamous Bill Clinton saga.
Oral sex isn't sex.
What a joke.

I am moving on.
This blog will not be updated anymore.
The tainted and inordinate truth is too ugly.
Goodbye to yesteryears.

A teaser - My kids would have to change the way they address me if things turn out as planned next year.
Fact or Fiction?
Hehe, time will tell!!

Currently Listening
Mamma Mia!

Mama Mia!

We went to watch Mama Mia yesterday at Marina and wow, the F1 lights are up!
Super duper glaring!
I wonder if we're able to catch the cars zoom past through Marina Square.
Ok, back to the topic.
Mama Mia is a musical heavily intended to sing Abba's songs.
I am not a big Abba fan but Meryl Streep can sing pretty decently!
Oh poor Pierce Brosnan's voice was cracking! Horrid.
Perhaps, the movie was inspired by High School Musical afterall. Hahah...
Pretty brainless show, no plot, just music.
The best thing we got was the HSBC Everyday Movie card!!!!
10 tickets @ $75!
Any show, anytime, anyday!
Wooooo

Then it was off to Bedok Block 88 for some Bak Chor Mee.
The market is sooooo packed! Hmm, does the sun never set in the east?
Cheap noodles at $2.50/bowl. Enough to satisfy our hunger after a non-satisfying dinner at KFC.
We're counting down to 27th Sept 08. Oh my, I simply can't wait!!!!!!!!

Ring...Snooze..Jump!

Who loves to wake up to the alarm clocking buzzing into your ears while you're still drooling about your Prince Charming in dreamland?
I doubt anyone loves it, right?
For the past 27 years of my life, I've spent almost 20 years sleeping with Mister A. A for alarm.
Nope, despite being in the morning session for most of my career, my biological clock is still not set to 0615.
With this condoning friend called Snooze, I would press it couple of times before jostling out of bed.
And so, for the past couple of months, I only manage to arrive in school 5 min before bell rings.
However, I decided to abandon Snooze this week onwards and make it a point to reach school at least 15 min before the bell rings.
And yes, I've managed to accomplish this simple goal!!!
For the past 3 days, I tap my access card at 0650!!! I could make myself a cuppa coffee, sit down and mark a few books and sashay to the hall for assembly!
Absolutely happy!
The traffic is less congested at Hillview, my heart beats slower and I can have my caffeine boost!!
Perhaps, it all boils down to the fact that I'm finding enjoyment in work once again.
Yes. I'm back on gear 4. And I'm accelerating up! Beating the traffic lights and all humps!
Woohooo...here we go!!!

Sidetrack a little. I cleaned the interior of my Marchie today! Haha, been donkey years since I did that and I feel really good sweating it out! Yay!

Get the Adrenalin Pumping!

I can only describe myself as a BIONIC woman for this week!
In all, I clocked 62 hours of work time, from Mon to Sat.
Total madness.
However, I feel such a momentous feat at the end of the day because all the effort was worth it.
Exam vettings, Pasar Pagi, Citibank Ideas in Action, Brownies Challenge.
And the best thing is, I never had any short circuit - my temper.
I was cool and collected and I braved through it all!
I'm so thankful he was with me throughout this crazy week, who was totally understanding and picked me up for dinners and ensured my stomach is well taken care of after a long day at work.
People say, the way to a man's heart is his stomach. Hmm... I fit that bill! But of course, it should read 'The way to Bee's heart is her bottomless pit!'

Anyway, the 4 buddies went to M hotel to celebrate the birthdays of the September babies.
Excellent food, great frienship, lovely ambience.
And best of all, Ala Carte Card!!!!

The special for September is Mutton Soup. However, we didn't try. Haha.

Our hotpot! The variety was a spread! Fresh big prawns, fish, beef, pork belly, dumpling, ice cream, cakes, drunken prawns....
Healthy too cos it is oil free!!!

The Ala Carte Card is a fantastic card for food lovers. You get a range of discounts from the Millennium and Copthorne hotel group. So far, we've tried Orchard Hotel's international buffet, Hua Ting for its renowned dim sum, M hotel for the hotpot buffet. Hmm.. what next? By the way, Hua Ting's dim sum is simply awesome. I give it 4 out of 5 ticks!
Minus point would be the card application fee isn't that cheap. My sis said it is around $500.

Life. I had its downs 2 months ago. I thought I won't be able to ever see the rainbows or confetti again.
Now, it is back on track and going up up and away!!!
Through the downs, I found true friendship, saw through man and found a stronger me.
What else can I ever ask for?
Nothing. Life has been and still is so good to me!!
